Manager, Strategy and Capture

What you'll do

• Develop business strategies, go-to-market plans, and growth initiatives for the Amazon Leo Government portfolio.
• Translate leadership priorities into actionable plans with clear milestones, owners, and success metrics.
• Own and deliver strategic programs end-to-end from initial scoping through execution and measurement.
• Build scalable operational mechanisms such as MBRs, QBRs, and reporting cadences to improve organizational consistency.
• Build dashboards and analytics frameworks to provide visibility into portfolio performance and initiative effectiveness.
• Present strategies, business cases, and progress updates to senior leadership to secure alignment.
• Write strategic narratives including 6-pagers, MBR/QBRs, and PR/FAQs.
• Influence cross-functional teams and partners without authority to resolve contentious issues and build consensus.

What we're looking for

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI.
• 5+ years of experience developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making.
• 5+ years of experience in various industries including Healthcare, Media, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Automotive, and Energy.
• 5+ years of experience with Core Cloud, Business Application, Advanced Compute, and Data & AI technologies.
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications.
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences.
• Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
• Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology.
• Master's degree in a related field or PMP certificate (preferred).
• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations (preferred).
• Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements (preferred).
• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling workforce development programs across large-scale operations (preferred).
• Experience using analytical tools for workforce metrics and reporting (preferred).
