Manager Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team through hiring, coaching, and career development.
• Own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery of software delivery platforms and release orchestration.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate dependencies, remove roadblocks, and manage delivery risk.
• Ensure reliable execution of client software updates through mature automation and operational excellence.
• Build scalable systems to provide actionable release intelligence and engineering insights.
• Drive the evolution of software delivery through progressive delivery and engineering self-service.
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear direction and measurable outcomes for the engineering organization.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 6 years of related experience.
• Must have an advanced degree and at least 4 years of related experience.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Must be fluent in written and oral English.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing engineering teams.
• Deep systems thinking to design and reason about complex, interconnected platforms and tooling.
• Track record of translating complexity into clear technical direction and measurable outcomes.
• Experience building or operating software delivery platforms, release orchestration, or developer self-service tooling (preferred).
• Enterprise-scale deployment and system reliability experience (preferred).
