Manager, Software Engineering, Developer Support

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers and technical support professionals to strengthen technical capabilities and career growth.
• Drive engineering excellence through sound technical practices, code quality, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Own operational performance including demand forecasting, capacity planning, workload management, and backlog health.
• Use data and performance metrics to identify systemic issues and prioritize engineering investments.
• Lead initiatives to reduce operational toil and improve developer self-service using AI and automation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges and improve the developer experience.
• Ensure adherence to company security, privacy, and operational standards.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of 6 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Must have 3+ years of hands-on software development experience within an Agile engineering environment.
• Must have 2+ years of direct people management experience building high-performing engineering teams.
• Must have strong knowledge of software architecture, debugging, code quality, APIs, and cloud-based applications.
• Must have experience leading production-facing engineering teams responsible for operational reliability and complex troubleshooting.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Must be fluent in written and oral communication in English.
• Experience with SDKs, developer platforms, or API ecosystems (preferred).
• Experience implementing AI-assisted engineering workflows or developer self-service solutions (preferred).
• Experience in financial technology, digital banking, or other regulated SaaS environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with Jira, GitLab, and Lean or Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).
