As a Senior Engineering Manager at Circle, you will lead a dynamic engineering team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of APIs, user-facing experiences, and backend services. This role requires a hands-on approach with at least 3 years of experience in technical leadership and 7 years in software engineering, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment.

What you'll do

Lead agile software processes for engineering teams and implement best practices.
Design and maintain APIs, user-facing experiences, services, and systems.

Act as an internal ambassador to communicate technology opportunities and constraints.

What we're looking for

3+ years of technical leadership experience in software engineering.
Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying secure, scalable products.
Proficiency in coding with Go, Java, or JavaScript for at least 3 years.
Experience managing remote teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Ability to coach and develop leaders both within and outside the direct team.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and decision-making capabilities.
Expertise in agile software processes and industry best practices implementation.
