What you'll do

Lead software design and development processes including requirements analysis, specifications, and implementation.
Establish development processes and standards to enhance team productivity and performance.
Perform code and design reviews while creating best practices for software development.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and career development guidance to software engineering team members.
Conduct performance evaluations and manage the recruitment and hiring process for new engineers.
Participate in engineering proposal cost estimation and Basis of Estimate efforts.
Manage matrix organization manpower allocation and optimize engineering assignments across the organization.
Contribute directly to software development projects as required.

What we're looking for

Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering with 12 years of related experience.
Master’s degree with 10 years of related experience.
Minimum of 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across functions.
Experience with recruiting and hiring technical talent.
Experience as a Cost Account Manager utilizing EVMS and program execution lifecycle.
Security clearance.
