What you'll do

  • Lead software design and development processes including requirements analysis, specifications, implementation, and testing.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the Software Engineering Group and assign individual work tasks.
  • Perform code and design reviews and approve formal documentation for software releases.
  • Estimate labor, capacity, tools, and equipment to adhere to budget and schedule commitments.
  • Provide technical direction, mentorship, and career development coaching to software engineers.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage the recruitment and hiring process for new technical talent.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative technologies and internal research and development projects.
  • Participate in engineering proposal cost estimation and basis of estimate efforts.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a US Citizen and require and maintain a DoD clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering with 12 years of related experience.
  • Master’s Degree with 10 years of related experience.
  • 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to develop software requirements, test, and integrate application and embedded software using C#, C, and C++.
  • Proficiency in both Windows and Linux based development.
  • Management and leadership knowledge with experience in recruiting and hiring technical talent.
  • Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
