What you'll do

Lead software design and development processes including requirements analysis, specification, implementation, and testing.
Manage day-to-day activities of the Software Engineering Group, including work assignments and performance monitoring.
Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers regarding project execution and career growth.
Perform code and design reviews while establishing best practices for software development.
Estimate labor, capacity, tools, and equipment to ensure projects meet budget and schedule commitments.
Manage the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring process for new software engineering talent.
Develop technical and cost volume inputs for proposal estimations and Basis of Estimates.
Oversee manpower allocation and manage project execution using EVMS as a Cost Account Manager.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen and able to maintain a DoD clearance.
Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, Master's with 10 years, or 16 years of experience without a degree.
Ability to develop software using C#, C, and C++ on both Windows and Linux platforms.
Management and leadership knowledge in the software engineering field.
Experience recruiting and hiring technical talent.
Experience as a Cost Account Manager utilizing EVMS and program execution lifecycles.
Experience developing technical and cost volume inputs for proposals.
Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
