What you'll do

Oversee the shaping, capture, and execution of all applied research in automation, control, AI, and autonomy.
Provide program execution oversight to ensure project managers effectively staff and steer internal investments.
Coordinate with business development personnel on customer shaping and mapping market trends to internal capabilities.
Define strategies for protecting and growing the portfolio of Science and Technology Commercial Research and Development projects.
Develop and deliver briefings and verbal presentations for executive leadership and customers.
Lead RFI, RFP, IDIQ, or FOPR responses and develop compelling proposal offerings.
Manage project risks, costs, and variance analysis for the Autonomy Commercial Research and Development portfolio.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience, or a Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years.
Must have a Master's degree and 8 years of related experience, or a Master of Science in STEM and 7 years.
Must have extensive experience with cost management, variance analysis, and staffing.
Must have experience developing customer relationships within the defense industry.
Must have experience with Agile development or fast-paced research and development.
Must have experience leading RFI, RFP, IDIQ, or FOPR responses and developing compelling proposal offerings.
Must have a current, active U.S. government Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance and SAP.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
