The Manager Information Technology 2 joins the CIDO PMO team to lead and manage an integrated IT and Cybersecurity team. This role focuses on information system lifecycle activities, where the manager oversees performance, execution of the statement of work, and consistent service delivery across the portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating high-level strategies into detailed work plans, managing project tracking tools, overseeing the enforcement of cybersecurity standards, and conducting compliance checks. The candidate will manage a team of IT and cybersecurity staff, providing mentorship and coordinating training to address skill gaps. Key technical requirements include familiarity with systems administration, networking, virtualization, infrastructure operations, and end-user services. Essential competencies include expertise in Cybersecurity best practices, specifically JSIG and RMF compliance frameworks, while managing mission-critical environments involving classified systems and government regulations.
Lead and manage an integrated IT and Cybersecurity team to ensure consistent service delivery across the portfolio.
Translate high-level IT and cybersecurity strategies into detailed work plans for day-to-day execution.
Oversee the enforcement of cybersecurity standards, policies, and procedures including JSIG and RMF compliance.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and tracking tools to provide leadership with real-time visibility into work status.
Conduct periodic compliance checks and prepare documentation required by government regulations.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer inspections and manage the remediation of findings.
Supervise staff by assigning tasks, reviewing deliverables, and providing mentorship and professional development.
Coordinate with internal executives and customers to resolve significant technical matters and share threat intelligence.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree with 10 years experience, Master's with 8 years, or PhD with 6 years.
Must possess a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR).
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Experience leading or supervising technical teams in IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or classified systems support environments is required.
Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance frameworks such as RMF and JSIG is required.
Familiarity with technical disciplines including systems administration, networking, virtualization, infrastructure operations, or end-user services is required.
A degree in Cybersecurity or an IT-related field is preferred.
ITIL, Agile, CISM, or CISSP certifications are preferred.
