What you'll do

Manage a team of 5-10 engineers to design, develop, and validate reliable electronics for gateway systems.
Drive electrical architecture, component selection, circuit board design, implementation, verification, and debugging.
Define and manage all key project milestones and deliverables from concept through full-scale production.
Develop innovative product architectures to achieve lower costs, higher performance, and extended reliability in harsh environments.
Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of engineers while enforcing high technical rigor and discipline.
Build out engineering labs and development workspaces while managing associated capital spend.
Implement automated design validation tests and production tests for gateway hardware.
Solve complex technical problems under tight deadlines and shifting strategic directions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline.
7+ years of professional experience in hardware design/development or electronics test engineering.
3+ years of management experience.
Experience managing multidisciplinary technical projects from concept through full production.
Expertise in designing mixed-signal circuit boards using processors, FPGAs, and high-speed interfaces like multi-GHz Serdes and DDR4.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C/C++.
Strong understanding of computer networking, optical networking architectures, and Linux/embedded operating systems.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.
