Manager, Environmental Safety and Health

What you'll do

• Lead and manage the EHS department by hiring, coaching, and performing performance management for team members.
• Develop and implement EHS programs to comply with federal, state, and local regulations at a new manufacturing campus.
• Conduct safety inspections to identify and document workplace hazards for job-related tasks.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to analyze root causes and implement preventative actions.
• Manage hazardous waste operations including proper handling, labeling, and storage in compliance with 40 CFR Parts 260-279.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards such as lockout/tag-out, fall protection, and chemical management.
• Serve as the primary EHS liaison for employees, managers, customers, auditors, and regulatory agencies.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience implementing and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Experience leading teams.
• Experience with Cal/OSHA regulations.
• Experience in 40 CFR Parts 260-279 Hazardous Waste Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with leadership, regulators, and staff.
• Capability to manage multiple activities, projects, and deadlines.
• U.S. Person status is required to access export controlled sites.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing and DoD programs.
