Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager

What you'll do

• Develop and manage EHS compliance programs, risk management processes, and safety standards for the satellite manufacturing facility.
• Conduct investigations into workplace hazards including chemicals, noise, lasers, and other industrial health risks.
• Perform data analytics on EHS information to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage environmental permits, waste disposal protocols, and regulatory reporting in accordance with local requirements.
• Execute technical sampling plans for chemical analysis, equipment calibration, and laboratory results interpretation.
• Conduct safety audits and develop actionable plans to resolve findings and implement necessary countermeasures.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs to engage employees at all levels on compliance and culture.
• Provide technical safety guidance for the design and development of new production processes and equipment.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health, environmental health sciences, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS or environmental programs within manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 5+ years as an industrial hygiene professional with aerospace R&D or complex manufacturing involving chemical, hearing, laser, and radiation safety.
• 3+ years of experience reviewing technical schematics and drawings for construction safety.
• 3+ years of experience developing and implementing Electrical Safety, Lockout/Tagout, laser safety, radiation safety, and 5S programs.
• Preferred certification or experience as a Laser Safety Officer or Radiofrequency Safety Officer.
• Experience managing environmental permits, waste disposal, and EHS reporting in accordance with local requirements.
