Environmental Health & Safety Manager

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and scale the site's EHS management systems across manufacturing, testing, and R&D environments.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert and liaison for leadership, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations including root cause analysis and tracking corrective actions to closure.
• Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing and warehouse areas to identify hazards and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage the site's risk profile by performing job hazard analyses and implementing necessary safety controls.
• Oversee hazardous waste management, including characterization, handling, labeling, storage, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain all required environmental and safety documentation, such as OSHA logs and permit records, to ensure audit readiness.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to staff to foster a culture of safe behavior across departments.

What we're looking for

• You must have at least 7 years of experience implementing and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs.
• You must possess deep working knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 General Industry regulations.
• You must have working knowledge of 40 CFR Parts 260–279 Hazardous Waste Management and related EPA/state regulations.
• You must have hands-on experience in inspections, incident investigation, root cause analysis, risk assessments, and compliance recordkeeping.
• You must demonstrate the ability to provide technical direction and mentorship through influence rather than positional authority.
• You must possess strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with leadership, regulators, and front-line staff.
• You must be able to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled sites.
