Manager, Cybersecurity & Information Protection (US) joins the Global Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance team to lead the enterprise information protection program as a primary Technology and Cyber Privacy Advisor. This role involves managing risks for business initiatives, applications, and third-party engagements while ensuring compliance with regulations like CCPA/CPRA and HIPAA within a complex pharmaceutical environment. The successful candidate will develop data protection policies, oversee classification and labeling, and manage incident response activities. Key technical requirements include experience with DLP tools, data discovery solutions, and encryption concepts across various environments. Candidates should possess expertise in GRC frameworks and information security. The role requires collaborating with legal, IT, and security operations teams to protect intellectual property and confidential business information while navigating multi-jurisdictional privacy obligations. Proficiency in English is required, with Spanish or Portuguese skills being a plus.
Serve as the primary advisor on cybersecurity, information protection, and data privacy matters across the United States.
Provide guidance on security requirements for strategic initiatives, business transformations, and technology projects.
Assess and manage risks associated with business initiatives, applications, digital solutions, and third-party engagements.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including CCPA/CPRA and HIPAA.
Lead compliance programs involving regulatory assessments, filings, remediation planning, and audit support.
Manage data protection tools for discovery, classification, labeling, and loss prevention (DLP).
Develop and maintain corporate information protection policies and standards.
Support cybersecurity incident response, escalation, and remediation activities as required.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's with 2+ years, or an Associate's with 8+ years, or a high school diploma and 10+ years of experience.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or project leadership capacity if holding a Bachelor's degree.
Must possess strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance frameworks, and U.S. regulations like CCPA/CPRA and HIPAA.
Must have strong stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills across business and technical teams.
Must be proficient in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
Knowledge of data protection and cybersecurity regulations across Latin America (preferred).
Experience supporting audits, regulatory inspections, and risk management initiatives (preferred).
