Manager, AI Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead the ISC AI engineering function by defining technical architecture, engineering standards, and development practices.
• Define solution approaches for GenAI applications, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agent-based workflows.
• Manage and coach a team of AI Engineers to build and support production-grade AI solutions.
• Oversee the design and development of AI applications integrated with enterprise data sources and Microsoft 365.
• Establish CI/CD, automated testing, and MLOps/LLMOps practices for production AI reliability and monitoring.
• Partner with AI Delivery to assess technical feasibility, estimate engineering effort, and shape solution scope.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, Data Governance, and IT teams to resolve architecture and compliance dependencies.
• Monitor production AI solutions for performance, cost, security risks, and continuous improvement opportunities.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Minimum of 5 years management experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, ML engineering, data engineering, cloud engineering, or related technical roles (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams, engineering programs, or complex technology delivery in a matrixed enterprise environment (preferred).
• Strong technical background in Python, APIs, cloud-native development, data integration, automation, and production software engineering (preferred).
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting AI, ML, GenAI, LLM, automation, or advanced analytics solutions in production environments (preferred).
