JOB TITLE: Principal AI Engineer – AI Acceleration & Enterprise Enablement As a Principal AI Engineer, you will join the team to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence across the enterprise. This senior individual contributor role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership to identify high-value opportunities and build secure, scalable, production-ready solutions. You will design and deliver Generative AI solutions, develop reusable frameworks, and create intelligent automation for complex structured and unstructured information, including document intelligence and data extraction. Your daily work involves applying LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, and prompt engineering using Python, APIs, pipelines, and cloud AI services like Azure OpenAI. You will establish engineering practices for testing, security, and scalability while mentoring teams to expand organizational AI capabilities within a highly regulated financial services environment.

What you'll do

Design, build, and deliver enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions from concept through production.
Develop scalable AI solutions using Python, APIs, pipelines, and cloud AI services.
Build solutions for complex structured and unstructured information, including document intelligence and workflow automation.
Apply LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, and prompt engineering to specific business use cases.
Create reusable AI frameworks, accelerators, components, and integration patterns to improve solution delivery.
Establish engineering practices for testing, security, software quality, scalability, and deployment.
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams to expand AI capabilities across the organization.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Eight or more years of relevant experience.
Experience designing and delivering enterprise AI, Generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions (preferred).
Strong hands-on experience with Python, APIs, pipelines, and modern software engineering practices (preferred).
Experience with LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks (preferred).
Experience with cloud AI services, preferably Azure AI and/or Azure OpenAI (preferred).
Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry (preferred).
Ability to provide technical leadership and communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences (preferred).
