Manager, Advanced Services Engineering, Patient Accounting

What you'll do

• Manage daily operations by assigning work, monitoring support queues, and setting priorities for patient accounting issues.
• Provide hands-on technical support to troubleshoot problems, review configurations, and resolve escalated incidents.
• Manage team performance by setting expectations, providing feedback, and developing employee skills.
• Coordinate application updates, upgrades, configuration changes, and testing with hospital users and Oracle teams.
• Lead issue investigations by reviewing root cause analyses and confirming corrective actions for recurring problems.
• Maintain current technical documentation and procedures while implementing practical improvements to support delivery.
• Communicate service issues, risks, and project status to hospital leaders and Oracle teams.

What we're looking for

• Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience.
• Must have experience directly managing application support or technical teams while remaining involved in troubleshooting and service delivery.
• Must have working knowledge of healthcare patient accounting systems and hospital revenue cycle workflows.
• Must have experience supporting software configuration, updates, upgrades, and issue resolution in a healthcare setting.
• Must have the ability to investigate application and workflow issues, review root cause findings, and guide corrective action.
• Must have experience assigning work, coaching employees, addressing performance issues, and identifying training needs.
• Must have the ability to explain technical issues, manage escalations, and agree on priorities with hospital stakeholders.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
