What you'll do

  • Lead all software development and delivery for LoopNet, including design, testing, and implementation of system components.
  • Coordinate activities and deliverables across 10-15 teams while resolving issues and setting priorities.
  • Mentor and manage Technical Managers and provide hands-on coaching to a team of 80+ developers.
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis with clients to obtain detailed business requirements.
  • Implement software development projects within scheduled timelines and budget parameters while ensuring engineering excellence.
  • Act as release manager to ensure product components are tested and ready for production deployment.
  • Identify, hire, and onboard top industry talent in collaboration with the recruiting team.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to identify trends and best practices for the company's technology platform.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not for profit, university or college.
  • 10+ years of experience leading large engineering teams focused on building software web tools.
  • 10+ years of industry experience managing multiple project development teams working on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience architecting, building, and operating high-availability, cloud-based software systems and full stack product platforms.
  • Hands-on development knowledge of front end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular) and/or API/platform development (C#).
  • Experience managing and coaching managers and senior engineers.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage key stakeholders, including at the CEO level.
  • Experience with project leadership on a large, multi-team, multi-discipline software product.
