As a Senior Manager in software engineering, you will be responsible for providing project definition and implementation through hands-on management of multiple software development teams leveraging Agile Scrum development and project management best practices defined by the company. You will undertake the execution of software development projects to achieve the company’s strategic objectives and must work closely with Product Leaders & other managers.

This position is located in Richmond, VA and offers a schedule of Monday to Thursday in office and the option to work from home on Friday.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for architecture, project ownership, and team leadership.

• Lead multiple teams of talented software developers in building applications and platforms using modern Typescript, React, NodeJS, .NET Core, SQL Server, and AWS technologies.

• Manage and coordinate projects within teams and across departments. Act as a player coach.

• Work directly with senior leaders in Marketing Organizations and Product Leaders to design applications that amaze your customers.

• Apply sound quality management methods, tools and techniques to create and support defect-free application software that meets the needs of the organization

• Act as "Voice of the Customer" when participating in product readiness reviews

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in person university or college

• Full stack development experience

• 3+ years of team leadership experience

• A demonstrable track record of building and launching successful products

• Experience using Typescript, Elastic, C#, SQL Server, and AWS technologies

• Proficiency in Continuous Delivery best practices

• Understanding AI technologies and has hands on experience in AI adoption and development.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Must be able to communicate at a level appropriate to the audience (direct reports, peers and senior management)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading products throughout the software development life cycle

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions aligned with business goals.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using the Microsoft .NET technology stack (.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, MSSQL).

• Implement and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas for performance.

• Implement solutions using modern architecture paradigms including microservices, domain-driven design (DDD), and event-driven systems.

• Guide teams in adopting best practices in .NET Core, C# and SQL.

• Ensure adherence to SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean coding standards.

Qualifications

About the Role:

As a Senior MLOps Engineer at Matterport, a part of CoStar Group, you will be pivotal in enhancing the performance, efficiency, and scalability of our machine learning models. You will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, applying advanced optimization techniques, and deploying highly efficient models into production. You will work closely with ML R&D Engineers and other engineering teams to analyze model performance, optimize inference speed and resource utilization, and ensure the seamless integration of optimized models into our spatial computing platform. What you will do:

• Analyze and profile machine learning models to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Implement and apply model optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, distillation, and neural architecture search to improve inference speed and reduce resource consumption.
• Develop and integrate specialized libraries and tools for efficient model execution on various hardware platforms (e.g., GPUs, CPUs, edge devices).
• Collaborate with ML R&D Engineers to understand model architectures, training procedures, and deployment requirements.
• Design and conduct experiments to measure the impact of optimization techniques on model performance and accuracy.
• Automate model optimization workflows and build robust continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for optimized models.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a focus on model optimization and deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and strong programming skills.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and optimization libraries.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, model architectures, and deep learning concepts.

Pay Transparency:

This position offers an annual OTE pay range from $173,000 - 213,000 determined by relevant skills and experience, in addition to uncapped commission opportunities and a generous benefits plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead purple team activities in collaboration with our threat management and defensive blue teams including adversary emulation and the validation of detective, defensive, and vulnerability controls
• Plan and oversee external red team engagements with external partners
• Oversee and mentor other offensive security team members. Share knowledge with all members of the security team
• Oversee all internal penetration testing efforts as both a player and a coach to other penetration testing engineers to cover penetration testing of all critical infrastructure (ie CI/CD systems, Active Directory)

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college (preferably in a relevant field - Computer Science/Cyber Security)
• A track record of commitment to prior employers

About the Role:

Matterport is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. You’ll be building features and services for the Matterport Platform, which acts as the glue and entry point for all other Matterport products and services.  We handle billions of requests each month, so you must be familiar with building services at scale.  The ideal candidate for this role will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to pivot when needed and have exceptional personal drive.  You should be comfortable working in an API-heavy, microservices environment.

This position is located in Irvine, CA and offers a schedule of Monday to Thursday in the office and the option to work from home on Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing and deploying new features and services

• Build features and services using Kotlin, Python and front-end technologies

• Build APIs, backend services and integrations that support our products

• Work with relational and non-relational data stores
• Work with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, engineers and QA
• Ensure proper monitoring and respond to issues with live environments

• Be an advocate for good engineering practices

• Contribute to a learning culture

• Mentor and coach junior engineers to meet their full potential

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university
• 5+ years of experience developing SaaS solutions using modern OOP languages, such as Java and/or Server-side Kotlin
• Experience with microservices such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with messaging frameworks, such as RabbitMQ and Kafka

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL

• A solid track record of developing testable, maintainable, well-documented code
• Track record of commitment to prior employers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Python
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch
• Experience with Autodesk Revit or other building information modeling software
• Exposure to non-relational data stores such as FoundationDB
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as React or Angular
• Exposure to or familiarity with Microsoft stack technologies including C#, .NET core, MySQL, etc.

This position offers an annual salary range from $124,000 - $187,000 determined by relevant skills and experience, in addition to a generous benefits plan.
