What you'll do

Review and disposition non-conformance events for spacecraft and ground support equipment across all operational phases.
Develop standard repair procedures and rework instructions to address manufacturing issues.
Propose design for manufacturing (DFM) improvements and optimized work instructions.
Perform static, dynamic, and fatigue stress analyses to support engineering dispositions.
Create analysis methods to address common structural non-conformances.
Conduct root cause failure analyses in coordination with Quality and Manufacturing teams.
Provide on-site engineering support during manufacturing, assembly, and quality inspection processes.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or an equivalent field.
At least 2 years of experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems.
At least 1 year of experience in a Liaison Engineer or Material Review Board (MRB) role for aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
Ability to interpret structural analysis reports and perform stress analyses including static, dynamic, and fatigue.
Proficiency in engineering fundamentals such as statics, dynamics, modal, frequency response, and vibration analyses.
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and ANSI Y14.5M-1994 drawing interpretation.
Experience with Siemens products including Teamcenter, NX, and NX Nastran.
