Learning and Development Instructional Designer, Quality

What you'll do

• Design and develop role-based training curricula aligned to AS9100, ISO 9001, and internal quality management systems.
• Conduct training needs analyses across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and field operations to identify knowledge gaps.
• Create multi-format learning assets including eLearning modules, instructor-led workshops, SOP guides, and video walkthroughs.
• Translate complex technical processes and nonconformance trends into clear, learner-centered training content.
• Manage the training content lifecycle, including version control, periodic reviews, and retirement workflows.
• Track and analyze training effectiveness metrics to iterate on content and delivery methods.
• Support internal and external quality audits by providing training records and demonstrating curriculum traceability.
• Evaluate and recommend scalable learning management systems and authoring tools for the organization.

What we're looking for

• Must have 5–8 years of experience in instructional design, training content development, or learning experience design.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience supporting quality, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
• Must possess working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or comparable aerospace and defense quality management standards.
• Must be proficient with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Cornerstone, or Adobe Captivate.
• Must have experience using learning management systems (LMS).
• Must be able to distill complex technical or regulatory content into clear, learner-centered materials.
• Must possess strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR and eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
