Lead, Systems Integration and Test Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead and manage verification and test efforts across the entire product lifecycle from inception to final sell-off.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration and testing of space equipment, including spacecraft buses and payloads.
• Develop complex test strategies to validate unit design, assembly integration, and mission operations capabilities.
• Manage project costs, schedules, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) inputs.
• Create and maintain critical test documentation including requirements, designs, plans, and procedures.
• Scope and oversee the development of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and automated test software.
• Analyze test results to identify, document, and track root causes through resolution with development teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to grow internal systems integration and testing capabilities.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and 9 years of engineering experience, a graduate degree and 7 years of experience, or 13 years of experience without a degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in System Integration and Test (SI&T) and large system engineering.
• Active Secret clearance or eligibility for Secret clearance; Top Secret clearance desired.
• Experience working through all phases of program and across multi-disciplinary teams (preferred).
• Experience testing military or space qualified hardware designs (preferred).
• Experience with systems, hardware, and software requirements verification including testability and traceability using DOORS (preferred).
• Experience designing test beds, simulators, or integration support systems (preferred).
