Lead Engineer - Testing will lead the design and development of automated production test systems for complex electronic aerospace products. Design and develop automated production test systems for complex electronic aerospace products from concept through deployment.
Architect and implement system-level solutions including hardware, software, and data flows to ensure high test coverage.
Develop and maintain test software using National Instruments TestStand, C/C++/C#, and LabWindows/CVI.
Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing by debugging test systems, failures, and equipment issues.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including requirements, schematics, procedures, and verification reports.
Influence overall test strategy, including design-for-test (DFT) input and board-level test strategies in manufacturing.
Mentor and coach other engineers on tools, architecture, design practices, and development processes.
Manage project resources and timelines to meet schedule, cost, quality, and compliance objectives.
What we're looking for
BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience designing automated test systems for complex electronic products or electrical systems in production or high-reliability environments.
Proficiency in software development using C, C++, and C#.
Capability in circuit design for test equipment, including signal conditioning, conversion, stimulus generation, filtering, and cable/harness design.
U.S. citizenship status is required.
Experience leading other engineers or technical workstreams within a project team (preferred).
Hands-on experience with National Instruments tools, including TestStand and LabWindows/CVI (preferred).
