What you'll do

Manage the hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development for a team of engineers.
Set technical direction for scenario design and analysis across simulated and real-world data sets.
Define and manage the metrics strategy to drive engineering decisions and product roadmap discussions.
Represent the team in customer engagements by building simulation scenarios and serving as a technical voice.
Lead root-cause analysis of system behaviors to inform architecture and resolve cross-team issues.
Build and scale internal tooling for data analysis, observability, and CI/CD automation.
Partner with algorithm and software leads to remove blockers and mentor engineers on integration best practices.

What we're looking for

Degree in Engineering, Physics, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field.
12+ years of experience in software engineering or software systems integration and test.
At least 1 year of direct people management experience including hiring and performance management.
Strong Python skills for data parsing, analysis, and visualization.
Ability to read and reason about C++ or Rust code.
Experience with kinematics modeling and simulation frameworks like AFSIM.
Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques such as Monte Carlo methods.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
