What you'll do

Lead complex technology initiatives with broad impact across the entire organization.
Act as the design authority to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards and goals.
Develop companywide best practices for engineering large-scale technology solutions.
Design, code, test, debug, and document software for various projects and programs.
Analyze complex technical solutions against strategic business objectives and technical challenges.
Consult with experts and industry groups to resolve complex technical issues.
Mentor peers and lead teams through the development of new initiatives.

What we're looking for

5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
Expertise in system design, data architecture, and navigating enterprise technology tools.
Experience in Java/J2EE Web Application Development, Spring (Core, MVC, AOP, Batch, Boot), and Web Services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
Experience with JMS, Messaging, Kafka, Apigee, and Test automation frameworks (preferred).
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) (preferred).
Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design, Object-Oriented Design Principles, and Non-functional requirements (preferred).
Experience in Cloud Technologies (Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, or Ab Initio knowledge (preferred).
Ability to influence across organizational levels, negotiate, and communicate effectively with stakeholders (preferred).
