JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineer The Lead Software Engineer joins a team responsible for a high-impact batch decisioning platform that orchestrates critical marketing, regulatory, and servicing campaigns. In this role, you will lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create solutions meeting regulatory needs. You will drive new feature development and platform modernization, managing petabytes of data and over a billion data points daily. Your daily work involves building robust cloud-based solutions using a tech stack featuring Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, HTML/CSS, SQL, and Go. You will also utilize Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and various RDBMS and NoSQL databases. This position requires mentoring an engineering squad and influencing end-to-end design decisions for complex distributed microservices.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create solutions for regulatory needs.
Drive new feature development and platform modernization using Python, JavaScript, AWS, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake.
Manage petabytes of data and over a billion data points daily within a high-impact batch decisioning platform.
Influence end-to-end design decisions and provide architectural ownership for large-scale distributed microservices.
Mentor a collaborative engineering squad and share technical expertise with the broader engineering community.
Deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for millions of customers.
Utilize a full stack of languages including Java, Go, SQL, and HTML/CSS to build scalable systems.
Implement container orchestration services using Docker and Kubernetes to support platform infrastructure.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred)
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
1+ years of people management experience (preferred)
