What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI outputs, including security, performance, and peer review protocols.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Lead communities of practice to promote the adoption of leading-edge technologies across the engineering organization.
Implement complex solutions using Java, SpringBoot, and distributed microservices in a cloud-native environment.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security and performance standards.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced expertise in Java, SpringBoot, and the Reactor.io framework.
Proficiency in distributed microservices, event-driven architecture, automation, and continuous delivery methods.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
Practical cloud native experience; experience with the Spring ecosystem and AWS (preferred).
