What you'll do

Lead a global scrum team to deliver on business commitments while influencing product direction through technical solutions.
Architect scalable, secure, and resilient systems while proactively managing technical debt and modernizing legacy applications.
Integrate AI-assisted engineering practices into the development lifecycle to improve code quality, testing, and delivery speed.
Mentor junior developers and lead by example to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Develop high-quality production code across backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend (React, TypeScript) technologies.
Serve as a subject matter expert to drive decisions regarding product design, functionality, and technical operations.
Advocate for firmwide frameworks and tools while ensuring compliance with secure coding and data sensitivity standards.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced experience developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST-based services.
Advanced experience designing distributed, event-driven architectures using Microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, relational databases, and asynchronous messaging.
Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript for frontend architecture and performance optimization.
Proven experience leading technical design discussions, mentoring engineers, and driving modernization initiatives across multiple stacks.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security and correctness.
Experience with Python, NoSQL databases, AWS services (ECS/Fargate, Aurora, CloudWatch, IAM, Terraform), Apache Kafka, or financial services is preferred.
