What you'll do

Develop and troubleshoot high-quality production code using Python, React, and AWS.
Design and implement creative technical solutions to solve complex problems beyond conventional approaches.
Review and debug code written by other team members to ensure quality and security.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technology applicability.
Lead communities of practice to promote awareness and adoption of leading-edge technologies.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, and testing.
Establish validation standards for AI outputs to ensure security, performance, and compliance in engineering workflows.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, React, AWS, and AI.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching others on safe adoption.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
Practical cloud native experience and knowledge of modern emerging technologies (preferred).
