As a Lead Software Engineer - Python/React/AWS/AI within the Consumer and Community Banking team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment. What you'll do

Develop high-quality, secure production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Design and implement creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems beyond conventional approaches.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve overall system stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Lead communities of practice to promote the adoption of leading-edge technologies across the engineering organization.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, and testing.
Establish validation standards for AI outputs to ensure security, performance, and accuracy in production environments.
Utilize SDLC toolchains and automation capabilities to improve delivery speed and operational outcomes.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, React, AWS, and AI.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Practical cloud native experience and knowledge of financial services industry IT systems.
Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security and performance standards.
Knowledge of modern emerging technologies (preferred).
