As a Lead Software Engineer - Python/Java Developer, you will join the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls team within Corporate Technology. What you'll do

Design, develop, and execute secure, high-quality production code for scalable software solutions.
Perform advanced technical troubleshooting and automate the remediation of recurring operational issues.
Lead resiliency design reviews and deconstruct complex problems into actionable tasks for other engineers.
Act as the primary point of contact and lead response during major production incidents.
Improve application reliability and performance using data-driven analytics to enhance service levels.
Establish service level indicators, objectives, and error budgets with stakeholders and customers.
Identify and resolve technology-related bottlenecks by providing high-level technical expertise in core domains.
Document and share technical knowledge through internal forums and communities of practice.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise system architecture, toil reduction, and site reliability best practices.
Advanced hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Fluency in at least one modern programming language such as Python or Java/Spring Boot.
Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with depth in cloud or distributed systems.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
Proficiency with container and orchestration technologies such as ECS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Experience troubleshooting networking technologies and practical cloud native experience.
