What you'll do

Own end-to-end solution architecture across applications, APIs, data, and integration environments.
Convert business requirements into high-level and low-level designs with documented technical trade-offs.
Define integration patterns and cross-service contracts using REST, gRPC, and event-driven architectures.
Provide hands-on leadership by writing Java/Spring Boot and Python code for production features and POCs.
Lead design spikes and performance investigations to resolve complex technical risks and validate architectural approaches.
Drive production issue triage and root cause analysis to ensure sustainable fixes and operational improvements.
Design and deliver production patterns for AI/ML capabilities, including inference pipelines and monitoring.
Define non-functional requirements such as scalability, resiliency, and security compliance for regulated environments.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 9+ years of applied experience.
Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions end-to-end.
Expertise in Java 11/17+, including Spring Boot microservices, API design, and testing practices.
Python 3.x expertise for services, automation, and data/ML integration.
Proven experience with distributed systems, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and Kafka or equivalent messaging.
Strong data architecture fundamentals involving relational/NoSQL patterns, caching, and schema evolution.
Practical experience productionizing AI/ML models and working knowledge of MLOps concepts.
Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native patterns, GenAI (LLMs, RAG), and modernization strategies (preferred).
