As a Lead Software Engineer Python within Corporate Technology, you will join an agile team focused on building and delivering secure, scalable, and stable market-leading technology products. You will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end cloud-native microservices while utilizing domain modeling to ensure software clarity and testability. Your daily work involves troubleshooting complex problems, implementing architectural patterns to eliminate single points of failure, and driving the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed. You will utilize a technical stack including Python, Flask, Django, React, Angular, TypeScript, and various cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. The role requires expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and JSON while solving complex problems within the banking domain to ensure high application resiliency and performance.
Design and develop cloud-native, microservices-based applications using modern architectural patterns for scalability and reliability.
Solve complex technical problems and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Implement domain modeling techniques to create clear, testable, and evolvable business products.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs, including secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge technologies across the organization.
Build scalable solutions that eliminate single points of failure and optimize data performance.
Coach engineers on the safe and compliant adoption of AI tools within engineering workflows.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Proficiency in back-end technologies (Python, Flask, Django) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular).
Experience building microservices-based applications using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, and web technologies like RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience designing and building scalable applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security and performance standards.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Strong soft skills including presentation, negotiation, mentoring, and stakeholder management (preferred).
Experience in the banking domain or holding an AWS certification (preferred).
