What you'll do

Design, build, and operate critical production code for high-quality software solutions.
Perform technical troubleshooting and solve complex problems using non-conventional approaches.
Review and debug code written by other team members to ensure quality and security.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve delivery speed and code quality.
Automate the remediation of recurring issues to enhance the operational stability of systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Implement CI/CD, DevOps toolchains, and test-driven development within agile frameworks.
Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs regarding security, performance, and correctness.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of modern architectures including microservices, REST APIs, event-driven design, and NoSQL data stores.
Experience building cloud-native applications and services with working knowledge of AWS or a comparable platform.
Demonstrated experience delivering at least two large, complex applications end-to-end from initial build through production delivery.
Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps toolchains, observability practices, and test-driven approaches within agile models.
Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security, performance, and correctness.
Advanced understanding of application resiliency and security principles and strong technical documentation skills using OpenAPI/Swagger.
Experience designing high-availability architectures and driving engineering process improvements (preferred).
