What you'll do

Design, develop, and support high-performance Java and React applications on AWS and internal cloud platforms.
Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Drive architectural decisions for scalable, resilient, and secure distributed systems to meet business objectives.
Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system stability.
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Resolve complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure production stability.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs or GraphQL services within a microservices architecture.
Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and oversee CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
8+ years of coding experience in Java (Spring Boot, Microservices) and 2+ years of React development (TypeScript, Redux).
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
Knowledge of EAC, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and proficiency in GenAI solutions.
Experience with CI/CD, application resiliency, security practices, Microservices, and Cloud Technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
AWS Certifications (preferred); Full stack development; experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) (preferred).
