As a Lead Software Engineer within the Consumer & Community Banking OPS Tech team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment. What you'll do

Design and develop full-stack software solutions using innovative approaches aligned to business outcomes.
Build and implement AI-driven capabilities, including LLM-based services and integrations into business workflows.
Architect and deliver cloud-native microservices and APIs with strong security, scalability, and performance.
Drive team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and establish consistent validation standards for secure coding.
Establish and own engineering standards for architecture patterns, coding standards, and testing strategies.
Define and operate service reliability practices including SLIs, SLOs, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release strategies to enable safe, predictable production delivery.
Deliver production code primarily in Java and Python using AWS technologies.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in Software Engineering and 5+ years of experience building production systems.
Expertise in designing and building microservices and RESTful APIs with strong knowledge of data technologies and integration patterns.
Hands-on experience building cloud-native systems on at least one major cloud platform like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with distributed systems concepts including scalability, resiliency, concurrency, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI use cases, including RAG and workflow assistants.
Demonstrated ability to lead team use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI practices.
Advanced Java proficiency and working knowledge of Python (preferred).
AWS cloud certification(s) and AI/ML or GenAI certification(s) (preferred).
