As a Senior Lead Software Engineer within Asset Wealth Management, you will join a small agile team to design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions for the JP Morgan Chase Client Services Platform. Your daily responsibilities include writing secure production code, leading hands-on system design, and ensuring operational stability while collaborating with Product Owners and global stakeholders. You will build scalable cloud architecture and manage data using SQL and Snowflake. The role requires proficiency in Java, Spring, React, JS, and AWS, alongside experience with GIT, CI/CD, and GraphQL. You will also advance the use of AI technologies for development and automation. This position solves complex technical and business challenges specifically related to Asset Management reporting and delivery within the financial services industry.
Design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions for the JP Morgan Chase Client Services Platform.
Write secure, high-quality production code using Java, Spring, and React while reviewing team code.
Lead hands-on system design, application development, testing, and ensure ongoing operational stability.
Build and deploy scalable architecture and solutions on Cloud platforms.
Utilize SQL and Snowflake for data management, querying, reporting, and data sharing.
Advance the use of AI technologies to improve software development, automation, and operational efficiency.
Gather requirements from Product Owners and Global stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
Solve technical and business challenges to support Asset Management reporting and delivery.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience across the Full Stack Software Development Life Cycle, including system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in core Java and front-end UI frameworks like JS, React, or Angular to build production-grade applications.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and analysis across large, complex financial datasets.
Practical experience working with cloud technologies (AWS).
Solid knowledge of deployment processes, including experience with GIT and version control systems.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and understanding responsible AI use in engineering.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
Experience in the financial services industry (preferred).
Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using AWS (preferred).
Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana (preferred).
Hands-on experience with GraphQL for efficient data querying and integration (preferred).
Experience working with data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks (preferred).
