As a Software Engineer II - Asset & Wealth Management Technology, you will join an agile team within the Asset & Wealth Management Technology organization to enhance, design, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable software components. Your daily responsibilities include executing software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product or system. You will write high-quality code, analyze large data sets to identify problems, and manage technical implications for upstream and downstream systems. You must utilize Python, SQL, and AWS cloud concepts while leveraging enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools for code generation and unit test creation. The role requires expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD, testing strategies, and database fundamentals to ensure operational stability in a data processing environment.

What we're looking for

Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Python and SQL.
Strong fundamentals with databases.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and security expectations.
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including code review, testing strategies, release practices, and operational support.
Understanding of agile methodologies and modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Working knowledge of AWS cloud concepts and services.
