What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Design and implement creative software solutions that address complex technical problems beyond conventional approaches.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing across the team.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Create technical documentation and service APIs ensuring robust logging, auditability, security, and monitoring.
Build and operate scalable, cloud-native services using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS infrastructure.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Proven hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in production environments.
Advanced proficiency in Java for enterprise backend development with practical experience using Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks.
Working knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, Kubernetes, Redis, Amazon MSK, and AWS services.
Experience building/deploying/operating services in a cloud environment (AWS) and creating technical documentation for service APIs.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and understanding responsible AI usage.
JavaScript/TypeScript experience and familiarity with trading systems or the FIX protocol (preferred).
