What you'll do

Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions for commercial lending products including loan origination and servicing.
Act as a technical advisor to leadership to design and influence solutions for complex business needs.
Design and code solutions for highly complex, large-scale challenges requiring advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
Translate strategic business objectives and technological requirements into actionable technical engineering solutions.
Provide vision and expertise on implementing innovative business solutions using AI, automation, and data engineering.
Collaborate with architecture and product teams to shape technical strategies and delivery roadmaps.
Direct scrum teams on day-to-day delivery tasks, providing consistent architecture guidance and extensive code reviews.
Drive improvements for platform stability and performance by addressing technical debt and enhancing operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or military experience.
5+ years of experience in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, Python, Scala REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
5+ years of experience with Angular 16, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX.
2+ years of AI technology implementation experience.
2+ years of experience working in Agile environments (preferred).
Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform services (preferred).
Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube (preferred).
