You will manage event-driven systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ and utilize SQL databases including Oracle or MySQL. Key responsibilities include leading solution architecture, driving CI/CD via Jenkins, and managing cloud-native delivery on AWS or Cloud Foundry to solve complex technical problems within the firm's business functions.

What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Design and execute creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems beyond conventional approaches.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing across the team.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical credentials.
Manage the full software development life cycle using automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native delivery.
Coach engineers on the safe and compliant use of AI tools while ensuring data sensitivity and security.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Strong hands-on Java + Spring Boot engineering experience building secure, production-grade services and RESTful APIs.
Experience with event-driven/messaging systems like Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ and building reliable integrations.
Full-stack capability with ReactJS, modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS using governed UI frameworks.
Technical leadership in cloud-native delivery, including solution design, CI/CD, and operating on AWS or Cloud Foundry.
Strong testing experience with JUnit and automated integration, contract, and component testing.
Strong SQL skills with RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, or Amazon RDS and experience with Git-based workflows.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
Experience with microservices architecture patterns (preferred).
Experience with micro-frontend architectures (preferred).
Experience with blue-green deployments (preferred).
