What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Design and build scalable, reliable solutions using modern architectural patterns to ensure zero-downtime releases.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Implement domain modeling techniques to structure software for clarity, testability, and evolution.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
Resolve complex technical problems by thinking beyond routine approaches to create creative software solutions.
Maintain and update technologies and patterns to ensure systems remain current and performant.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in back-end technologies (Java and Python) for microservices and front-end technologies like React or Angular.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching others on safe adoption.
Experience designing and building scalable applications using SQL or NoSQL databases.
Experience with agentic AI protocols (e.g., MCP, AG-UI) and frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
Advanced understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and cloud native technologies.
Knowledge of financial services, soft skills like mentoring, and AWS certification (preferred).
