JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineer - iOS Lead As a Lead Software Engineer within the Commercial & Community Banking team, you will serve as a core technical contributor responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and stable market-leading technology products. You will develop high-quality production code, review peer work, and make critical decisions regarding product design and technical operations. Your daily work involves building large-scale mobile applications for iOS and Android using Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, Java, and Kotlin. You will implement complex front-end solutions, integrate native features like CoreML and VisionKit, and utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools for refactoring and testing. You must apply knowledge of mobile design patterns such as MVVM and VIPER while following Agile practices, Scrum, and Continuous Delivery to optimize application speed, reliability, and security.

What you'll do

  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews for other team members.
  • Design and implement complex front-end solutions for large-scale iOS and Android mobile applications.
  • Utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate, refactor, and test complex software deliverables.
  • Optimize mobile applications for speed, reliability, and scalability using Agile and Continuous Delivery practices.
  • Integrate native mobile features such as Camera, Push Notifications, GPS, and biometric security.
  • Support Site Reliability Engineering practices to maintain system performance and a high-quality user experience.
  • Advise stakeholders on new technology adoption and perform threat modeling to assess technology risks.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Experience in system design, application development, testing, and maintaining operational stability.
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to generate, validate, and refine outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and resiliency expectations.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to mobile development.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile development frameworks including iOS, Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Cocoa, and SwiftUI.
  • Familiarity with iOS design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, MVP, VIPER, and MVI.
  • Experience integrating native features like Camera, Push Notifications, GPS, CoreML, and VisionKit.
