As a Lead Software Engineer - iOS Lead within the Commercial & Community Banking team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment focused on delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You will develop high-quality production code, review peer contributions, and make critical decisions regarding product design and technical operations. Your daily work involves building mobile applications for iOS using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C, while also supporting Android development with Java and Kotlin. You will implement complex front-end solutions, integrate native features like CoreML and VisionKit, and utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to enhance productivity. Key skills include proficiency in UIKit, Cocoa, and various design patterns like MVVM or VIPER. You will manage the full software development life cycle using Xcode, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure optimal performance.
Develop secure, high-quality production code for mobile applications while reviewing and debugging peer contributions.
Design and implement complex front-end solutions for large-scale iOS and Android mobile applications.
Integrate AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and automated testing across deliverables.
Validate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure they meet security, performance, and accuracy standards.
Optimize mobile applications for speed, reliability, and scalability using Agile and Continuous Delivery practices.
Implement core mobile features including push notifications, biometrics, encryption, and GPS integration.
Support Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to maintain system performance and user experience.
Advise stakeholders on new technology adoption and the responsible use of AI in engineering workflows.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification in software engineering and 5+ years of applied experience.
Experience in system design, application development, testing, and maintaining operational stability.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to create, validate, and refine outputs for security and performance.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Proficiency in mobile development frameworks including iOS, Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
Experience integrating native features like Camera, Push Notifications, GPS, CoreML, and VisionKit.
Proficiency with Git, source code management, and Agile software development methodologies.
Experience with copilot or other related tools (preferred); familiarity with build automation and threat modeling (preferred).
