As a Lead iOS Engineer, you will serve as the technical anchor for the Fulfillment team, supporting the flagship mobile shopping app. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of native iOS features specifically for the Reorder and Buy It Again experience. Your daily responsibilities include owning application architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving work from discovery through release. You will develop clean, scalable code using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and The Composable Architecture. Technical requirements include expertise in Swift Concurrency, Xcode, Instruments, OAuth, and REST APIs. You must manage complex cross-team dependencies while ensuring high performance and reliability. This role solves the business problem of helping guests easily find and purchase previously bought products through a reliable, intuitive mobile interface.

What you'll do

Lead the design, development, and delivery of native iOS features for the Reorder and Buy It Again experience.
Develop clean, scalable, and well-tested Swift code using SwiftUI and The Composable Architecture.
Own technical designs and architectural decisions to balance business objectives, maintainability, and performance.
Drive engineering work from initial discovery and requirements through implementation, testing, and release.
Coach and mentor engineers to improve code quality, design, and technical decision-making across the team.
Manage complex cross-team coordination, technical dependencies, and delivery risks.
Identify opportunities to improve app architecture, developer productivity, observability, and quality of service.
Use instrumentation and analytics to monitor feature performance and inform future improvements.

What we're looking for

4 year degree or equivalent experience.
7+ years of software development experience with at least one full cycle implementation.
4+ years of experience developing apps for iOS.
Deep experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency, Xcode, and Instruments.
Experience with modular app architecture, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability on large distributed teams.
Experience with authenticated sessions using OAuth and authentication tokens.
Experience with design/development/use of analytics solutions.
Experience with agile methodology (preferred).
