What you'll do

Design and build secure, production-grade mobile solutions including architecture, functionality, and operations.
Develop and maintain mobile applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, Java, and Kotlin.
Drive adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Review, debug, and improve code written by yourself and others to ensure maintainability.
Optimize and validate application performance across various mobile devices and form factors.
Deliver complex front-end implementations for large-scale mobile applications including automated testing.
Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
Apply Agile and SRE practices to ensure reliability, scalability, and delivery excellence.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in at least one mobile-relevant programming language.
Strong knowledge of iOS (Swift/Objective-C, UIKit/Cocoa) and/or Android (Java/Kotlin) frameworks.
Experience integrating native device capabilities, API integration, and mobile tooling like Xcode.
Understanding of mobile security, including biometrics, encryption, and data protection.
Proven delivery of apps via App Store/enterprise distribution using CI/CD, Git, and Agile practices.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
Experience with iOS architectural/design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC, MVP, VIPER) (preferred).
Familiarity with build automation tools and frameworks for static and dynamic analysis (preferred).
Ability to assess technology risks, perform threat modeling, and communicate risk to stakeholders (preferred).
Experience building relationships with cross-functional teams, including technology, business, audit, and risk partners (preferred).
