What you'll do

Translate requirements into forward-looking architectural strategies and implementation plans.
Lead the design, implementation, integration, and testing of software using Java and C++.
Serve as a technical point of contact to recommend technologies and champion engineering best practices.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system integration issues for deployed systems.
Produce and maintain technical documentation while participating in design and code reviews.
Provide coaching and mentorship to junior engineers to support a culture of growth.
Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and identify improvements.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience, a graduate degree and 7 years of experience, or no degree and 13 years of experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical lead, software architect, or project-level software leadership role.
Active Secret Clearance.
Lead design, implementation, integration, and testing using Java and C++.
Strong mastery of object-oriented design, multi-threaded programming, concurrency models, and synchronization techniques (preferred).
Proficiency with modern languages and ecosystems including Java, Python, and Rust (preferred).
Active TS/SCI clearance (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
