Lead Quality Systems Engineer, Maritime

What you'll do

• Own the Maritime Division's AS9100 quality management system including documentation, internal audits, and corrective actions.
• Design a QMS architecture that maintains audit readiness across multiple manufacturing sites and product lines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party certification bodies and regulatory reviews.
• Establish standardized quality processes and procedures across all division manufacturing sites.
• Conduct risk and gap analyses to identify and mitigate certification risks during expansion.
• Manage the division-wide CAPA process by tracking nonconformances and driving root cause analysis.
• Develop and deliver training programs to build quality awareness among personnel at all sites.
• Coordinate with leadership and production teams to integrate QMS requirements into operational planning.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for export-controlled information or facilities.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management within aerospace, defense, or government-contract manufacturing.
• Direct experience managing or contributing to AS9100 certification and surveillance audits.
• Demonstrated experience with multi-site or multi-scope quality management systems.
• Strong knowledge of CAPA processes, internal auditing, and management review requirements under AS9100.
• Ability to communicate effectively across organizational boundaries and present to leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
• AS9100 Lead Auditor certification or Lean/Six Sigma certifications are preferred.
