Lead Principal Data Center Commissioning Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the commissioning of all electrical, control, and mechanical systems for data center projects.
• Manage the direct interface between Oracle and partners to ensure successful system testing and turnover.
• Oversee commissioning activities for multiple lease provider projects to ensure they meet company standards.
• Review commissioning testing procedures to verify that equipment and subsystems function according to design specifications.
• Provide expert technical input for contract administration, including change orders and cost forecasts.
• Develop and contribute to design specifications to ensure the delivery of reliable and resilient data centers.
• Mentor junior team members and develop training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Create cross-functional standard operating procedures and provide high-level technical writing.

What we're looking for

• Must have 10+ years of experience in data center commissioning and engineering.
• Must possess professional qualifications in mechanical, control, or electrical engineering with a commissioning focus.
• Must have expert operating knowledge of engineering systems including advanced diagnostics and repairs.
• Must be able to demonstrate expert-level knowledge of safe working practices such as lockout/tag out.
• Must possess expert-level communication skills for technical writing and cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be willing to travel up to two weeks per month.
