The Lead Java Engineer joins the Core Online team to design, develop, and support large-scale, cloud-native enterprise applications and global platforms. What we're looking for
6+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java and modern software engineering practices.
Experience designing and developing distributed systems, microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and event-driven applications.
Experience building cloud-native applications and deploying solutions on cloud platforms, with GCP preferred.
Experience supporting mission-critical production systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and leading incident resolution efforts.
Experience working with highly regulated data and implementing security controls, including authentication, encryption, authorization, and OWASP best practices.
Expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, and Spring Data.
Proficiency with cloud platforms and container technologies including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools, automated testing frameworks, and monitoring/observability tools for large-scale production environments.
