Java Lead Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex software solutions beyond routine approaches.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronized algorithms.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while meeting technical constraints.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and documentation.
• Analyze large, diverse datasets to create visualizations and reports that drive system improvements.
• Identify hidden patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Lead the adoption of safe, compliant AI practices within engineering workflows.
• Manage full-stack development across Java, Spring Boot, and React technologies.

What we're looking for

• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Hands-on experience in full stack software engineering for business critical applications in production.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and SQL with the ability to learn other languages.
• Experience with React and other front end technologies.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security expectations.
• Knowledge of cloud-based development and the Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD and agile practices.
• Experience with Python, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices (preferred).
